Bentley’s Bakery & Cafe
Bentley's started in Tarah Fontaine's kitchen after graduating from the New England Culinary Institute. She began baking cakes and treats for her local community until her oven and storage space were consistently over worked. So she bought an existing bakery in Danville and converted the business into her own vision.
Bentley's specializes in Wedding & Artisanal Cakes for any occasion. They host a full cafe setting which is fun and lively serving up coffee, pastries, breakfast and lunch items.

The North Danville Brainerd Memorial Library was a gift from Charles Brainerd, a Danville native born in 1842. A Civil War veteran, Brainerd returned home and spent the next 70 years in the town he loved. Though a farmer by trade, he also served as a side judge in Caledonia Court and completed two terms as a Vermont state senator. He and his wife lived simply and left a significant estate to benefit Danville’s public institutions, including funds to establish a library in North Danville.
The library officially incorporated on January 23, 1937, and was first housed in the Schoolhouse Assembly Room, serving both students and the wider community. After the North Danville School closed in 1989, the Trustees reorganized in July 1990, preparing two classrooms for the collection. The library officially reopened on January 20, 1991, and has continued to serve readers of all ages ever since.
